MARTY'S MINUTE
As we close the school year, I want to thank you for your hard work and dedication. This year has had its ups and downs, but you have been fantastic in supporting our students every step of the way.
Attending our high school graduation ceremonies these past couple weeks was a highlight of the school year. Seeing our students reach this milestone was truly inspiring. Their pride and excitement reminded me of how important our work is. The impact we have on the lives of our community's families is profound. These graduation moments highlight the excellent job you all are doing. Your efforts, encouragement, and belief in our students make all the difference.
I hope you have a relaxing and enjoyable summer. Let's come back refreshed and ready to continue our vital work together. See you on August 27th for our District Welcome Back event!

PAHS BIO STUDENTS VISIT OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK
Huge thank you to everyone who made it possible for our PAHS Biology students to explore Olympic National Park earlier this month!
Students had the chance to hear incredible stories about the park’s biodiversity from Ranger Dean Butterworth and got hands-on experience measuring biodiversity using transect sampling. They even compared their findings to what they’ve observed on the Port Angeles High School campus.
This field trip was an amazing opportunity for our students to engage in real-world science and analysis!

CALLING ALL GARDENERS!
The school gardens produce a lot of vegetables over the summer months. Families can sign up for one time free delivery of fresh produce by emailing clallamfarm2school@gmail.com or calling/texting (360)912-5970.
The school gardens also need a lot of help and support over the summer. If you live nearby Dry Creek, Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln HS or Port Angeles HS, you could help support school gardens by signing up for summer watering. Please see contact information on the flyer.
A benefit of signing up for summer watering is spending time outdoors, feeling connected to the growth of the garden and harvesting ready produce and taking it home to eat!
