Sra. Kuonen is a proud graduate of Warren Central and Indiana University! Ms. Kuonen has dedicated 29 years to educating students in Spanish. She has a heart of gold and an adventurous spirit. Not only does she create thoughtful and inventive lesson plans, she is a positive mentor for young teachers in the World Language Department. She has also taken numerous student groups to Spain, Mexico and Costa Rica.

Roberta is the proud mama of Lainey, our school service dog as well as her own daughters, Rachel and Samantha. When not teaching. you can find her gardening, bird watching, and cheering on the Boston Red Sox and her beloved Notre Dame Irish with her husband, Chris.

Tutoring has changed to Mondays and Thursdays from 2:30-4:30. Food will be provided by Chartwells and transportation will be provided home. See the flyer for more information.

The American Heart Association is excited to announce the NEW date for Go Red Goes STEM – Friday, April 16th! We can’t wait to meet your students where they are, by hosting an interactive, informative, and compelling virtual experience exploring the exciting world of STEM.

Upon completing the registration, each student will receive their ticket number which they will need to keep handy for when they log in for the event. On April 16th, students will log into the Bizzabo website and click through each session to be inspired, educated and motivated.

If you have ordered senior items from Herff Jones, please watch for an email from Mrs. Waggoner in the Bookstore informing you when your order has arrived and is ready for pick up. Caps and gowns will not be included in these orders and will be delivered to all students at a later date.

CLICK HERE to complete the cap and gown order form so the correct size is ordered. Please note that this form must be completed under the student's email. No outside Warren email will be accepted to fill out the order form.

This year Warren Central High School’s in-person summer school program will focus on a credit recovery model based on student’s credit needs. We are currently planning for an in-person instructional model where students will attend in-person each day from June 7, 2021-June 30, 2021. Courses will be offered at no cost to current Warren Central High School students. Transportation will be available before and after school for students who request transportation.

Summer school dates: June 7th-30th (18 school days)

Summer school schedule: (three class periods per day)

• Period 1 --> 7:15-9:25
• Period 2 --> 9:30-12:05
• Period 3 --> 12:10-2:20

This year Warren Central High School will partner with Indiana Online Academy to provide students with additional course offerings. Current 10th and 11th-grade students who are planning to work ahead to earn credits in Government (grade 11), Economics (grade 11), U.S. History 1 and 2 (grade 10), or students who need to take PE and Health, will complete the coursework through Indiana Online Academy (IOA) with IOA instructors. These courses will be entirely virtual and will be conducted from June 7, 2021-July 18, 2021. Enrollment for these courses begins on April 5, 2021. Students who enroll in these courses will follow the timelines and guidance of the IOA program. Once a student successfully completes the course, the course will be added to the student’s transcript. These courses will be offered at no cost to current Warren Central High School students. More information can be found by visiting their website at Indiana Online Academy Summer School.

• 100% VIRTUAL families can pick up food on Tuesday from 8:00-9:30 a.m. or 4:00- 6:00 p.m. at Moorhead Community Resource Center located at 8400 East 10th Street.
• All hybrid in-person students will have the opportunity to pick up meals while in-person to take home for the following school day. Please encourage your child to take advantage of this opportunity!

In celebration of "Music in our Schools Month," Warren Central's chapter of Tri-M Music Honor Society is hosting a TOILETRIES DRIVE during the month of March to benefit the Moorhead Community Resource Center. Please donate new toiletry products (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.), any size, in the donation bins located by the WCHS Main Office, Academy Office, Career Center Office, Counseling Services Center Office, and Performing Arts Center.
