The Novel Effect app is an awesome tool for teachers and school personnel to add to their bag of tricks. It brings stories to life by responding to your voice as you read aloud and adding interactive music and sound effects to a large collection of children’s books. It also has downloadable activity plans and reproducibles to accompany many of the available titles. It works beautifully with your phone and a small blue tooth speaker really amplifies the added sound effects.

Students and staff created this beautiful display for Black History Month. Pictures of high school faculty are displayed and students were given the chance to write about who they think is an influential African American. Come and see what they wrote!
