Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the final stretch of the school year, I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for your unwavering support and partnership throughout this journey. Your commitment to your child's education and well-being has been remarkable and has made a significant difference in our school community.
The past months have presented us with both challenges and triumphs, but your dedication to your child's learning and growth has remained steadfast. Your support, whether it's through attending parent-teacher conferences, volunteering your time, or being actively engaged in your child's education, has not gone unnoticed.
As we work together to finish the school year strong, I encourage you to continue staying connected and involved in your child's academic journey. Your involvement is crucial to their success, and your encouragement and support at home are invaluable. Here are a few ways you can stay connected and support your child during these final weeks:
- Communicate with Teachers: Contact your child's teachers if you have any questions or concerns about their progress. Maintaining open lines of communication is critical to ensuring your child's academic success.
- Encourage Consistency: Help your child establish a routine that includes dedicated time for homework, studying, and rest. Consistency is critical to maintaining focus and productivity.
- Celebrate Achievements: Celebrate your child's accomplishments, big or small. Positive reinforcement boosts their confidence and motivation to excel.
- Stay Engaged: Attend school events, participate in parent workshops, and discuss your child's educational goals and aspirations. Your active involvement demonstrates the importance you place on education and sets a positive example for your child.
- Promote Self-Care: Encourage your child to prioritize self-care by getting enough sleep, eating healthily, and taking breaks when needed. A healthy mind and body are essential for academic success.
As we embark on these final weeks of the school year, let's continue to work together, support one another, and inspire our students to reach their full potential. Together, we can finish the school year strong and celebrate the achievements and growth of our children. Thank you once again for your unwavering support and dedication. Your partnership is truly valued and appreciated.
Educationally,
Principal Williams

Feminine Triumphs: Echoes of Women's Legacy
by Janice Igiebor (Class of 2024)
In the month that honors the strength of womankind,
We celebrate the voices that were once confined,
Through trials and triumphs, they've paved the way,
For a brighter future that shines today.
From the suffragettes who fought for rights,
To the brave women challenging societal slights,
Their stories woven into the tapestry of time,
Their resilience and courage forever sublime.
In every field, they've left their mark,
Breaking barriers and igniting a spark,
From artists to activists, scientists to queens,
Their legacy continues to inspire and glean.
So let us raise our voices high,
In honor of the women who dared to defy,
Their history is our history, their struggles our own,
In unity and strength, our seeds are sown.

HAPPY EARTH DAY
The Newark Tech Biodiversity Class and the Eco-Tech club had a blast during their trip to the Watershed Institute of New Jersey! Our scholars got an opportunity to learn about the water cycle and watershed management.
However, the real fun started when our scholars hit the trails with their advisors, Ms. Mendez and Correa, for a hike to the stream nearby, where things got muddy!
The students spent the rest of the day exploring stream life, chatting about how different critters interact and how we humans impact our environment. The terriers got their hands dirty, doing visual checks, chemical tests, and biological monitoring to see how healthy the stream was. And let’s not forget the search for macroinvertebrates!
It was a truly remarkable day of learning, discovery, and a deep connection with nature. Our students returned brimming with enthusiasm and a renewed respect for our waterways. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Correa and Ms. Mendez for organizing this exceptional learning experience for our scholars.
