ZAP Continues: All assignments marked as !MISSING in the Powerschool gradebook will be referred to the ZAP Program. A Missing Assignment Report will pulled prior to 10:00 a.m. each Monday morning. Notifications will be delivered to students & a text sent to guardian. To get signed out of ZAP, students will need to complete the assignment with full effort, fill out a green get out of ZAP form located at the office window and have the teacher sign the form between passing periods/before-after school/during the class you are zap'd for and then return it to the office.***New ZAP Policy started- February 24th - Any missing assignment referred to ZAP will be a ZERO at the end of the 2nd week on the ZAP list. Assignments will not pull on the ZAP list for 3 Monday's in a row. Please discuss this policy change with your student and remind them on week 2 that it is due on Thursday or will be a ZERO.***
ZAP WILL BE OPTIONAL THIS WEEK AFTER SCHOOL EXCEPT FOR ALL STUDENTS WHO SKIPPED ZAP LAST WEEK. STUDENTS WHO MISSED LAST WEEK AND DID NOT GO TO FRIDAY SCHOOL WILL BE REQUIRED TO STAY THIS WEEK TO MAKE UP THAT TIME.
JH Eligibility Continues : Parents/guardians of any JH student who currently has a failing (F) grade, behavior, or multiple missing assignments, and in athletics will be notified of in-eligibility via school reach text message and email.
