If your student did not receive a yearbook, certificate or certificate holder, you can pick them up at the school during school hours.

All drivers must wait in the car line until you reach the pick-up zone at the front of the building. Do not park in the main lot or in the new, southwest lot near the ELC. Students walking through traffic create safety concerns for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

As a reminder, all students at BMS-Prairie receive social/emotional learning (SEL)

lessons multiple times a year and during COLT time. In addition, all students have

access to a counseling team member. If you ever have questions about our general

curriculum or supports specific to your student, please feel free to contact a member of

the Prairie Counseling Department.

Please join us for our final PTO meeting of the year on May 14th at 9:15 AM. All incoming 6th grade parents are welcome to attend. Please share with your friends and neighbors. PTO Bylaws and 2024-25 PTO Slate will be voted on at the meeting.

Barrington 220 is now partnering with an Illinois school safety helpline aimed at providing students a place to report information that might prevent bullying, suicide, and campus violence. Safe2Help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It allows students to confidentially share school safety issues via a mobile app, text, email, or phone call. You will notice that the "See Something, Say Something" button on our district and school website now links directly to the Safe2Help contact page. We are asking that all students, parents, staff, and community members now use this platform to report safety concerns. In the case of an emergency, call 911. Please be aware that when a Safe2Help report is made which references suicide, self-harm or school safety building staff and/or local authorities will be contacted.

During an emergency situation at one of our schools, it is important for our community to work together. Barrington 220 has developed this tip sheet for parents/guardians, which shares specific actions parents/guardians should take in the event of an emergency.
