Zoo and Retreat 2015

On Sunday, April 12th, we packed up cars at 7am and drove to St. Louis to visit the zoo and hold our yearly retreat. We got to see the entire zoo, and then we made a trip out of the park to have lunch and hold our meeting for the week. We had officer reports, and ran our regular business meeting. It was a great day and we are looking forward to doing something like it again next year!

What We've Been Up To

Honorary Initiation

On Sunday, April 19th, we had the honor of initiating Dr. Brian Silvey and Chris Barchesky as honorary members into our chapter. We were so glad to have Dr. Lyon and Dr. Snow join us for initiation, as well!

Our (Not-So-New) Officers

We held our annual elections on April 26th! However, since there was only one person running for office, we were able to elect by acclamation, and had elections in under 1 minute!! Here are our 2015-2016 Zeta Omega officers:

President: Laura Cooke

Vice President: Mary Beth Hawley

Recording and Corresponding Secretary: Maddie Hirsch

Assistant Membership Educator: Adrianne Tucker

State Music Fest 2015!

Once again, we had the opportunity this year to sell merch at a table at the State Music Festival, as well as volunteer as room and hall monitors. We sold roses, buttons, old Marching Mizzou shirts, and M2 water bottles. It was a very fun and successful 3-day event!

Our Graduating Seniors!

We have four seniors who are graduating in two weeks - Hope Kirwan, Kayla Null, Nicole McMorris, and Miranda Schloman! We are so excited for them to start this new chapter in their lives, and hope they will come back to visit!

Miranda Schloman - Health Science with a minor in Psychology (She will be returning in the fall as a graduate student here at Mizzou for the Master of Public Health program!! We are so excited!!)
