We are excited to announce that we’re partnering with MSPR to bring you another fun movie night at the City Hall Amphitheater! Come join us on Friday, July 12th for the showing of Zootopia. The movie will start at sundown, but be sure to come early and grab dinner from the food trucks. We can’t wait to see you there.

MSPR recognized several of its track athletes for their outstanding performance in the ARPA State Track Meet. The track meet was held in Wetumpka on June 1st. The athletes competed against 29 different parks and recreation track programs across the state. Congrats to all of the participants that competed at the state meet, especially these who finished in the top 3 in their events!

Congratulations to all the Muscle Shoals Parks and Recreation teams that participated in the Braves Country tournament this past weekend in Atlanta, Georgia! We commend the athletes, coaches, MSPR crew, and supporters who played a role in the excitement. Your excellent representation of the City of Muscle Shoals is highly valued.

A special acknowledgement goes to the players and coaches of the 9U and 10U boys teams for their victories in their respective divisions. Way to go, everyone!

The City Council meets on the first and third Mondays of each month, with work sessions beginning at 5:00 PM and regular meetings starting at 5:30 PM or upon the conclusion of the work session, whichever is later. Anyone wishing to address the City Council at either session may click "City Council Agenda Request" above to access the link and complete a request. The completed request must be submitted to the City Clerk's Office in City Hall by 3:00 PM on the Friday preceding the meeting of your intent to speak.
