Happy Monday Bulldog Nation Families,

I wanted to recommend a great documentary to help our families be more aware of the impacts of Social Media. It was recommended by Detective Crawford from TDP during our Social Media Night, and my wife and I recently watched it and it summarizes a lot of what we see from an administrative standpoint on a daily basis with students. The documentary is called Childhood 2.0 and it is available on Amazon Prime, and a few other streaming services. Check it out and let me know your thoughts!

We have Benchmark Testing tomorrow & Thursday. A few reminders:

• Bring your iPad charged and ready to go everyday, especially for testing
• 2 students from each testing group will be selected for Lunch with the Principals (Pizza & Eegees)
• Students who attend all 3 days of testing & do their best on the test will have Free Dress on Thursday, December 19th.

Did you know you can excuse a student absence right on your ParentVUE? This not only helps us out in the office but makes it quick and easy for you too. All you need to do is log into the App or go to the website on a computer. Please know that the attendance feature does not work from a phone unless you have the App downloaded.

The steps are simple: go to ALL-DAY attendance, then click report absence, select the date and reason for absence and you can add a note as needed and click save!

8th grade students read their published poetry that they have been working on in Ms. Jones' class. Working with Pima County to go out in nature and then do poetry in the classroom. Congratulations, for all the hard work and the beautiful booklet of art and poetry that was put together.
