Parents/Guardians - What Is Your Opinion?
2025-2026 Student Device Take-Home Program Parent Survey
Zion Elementary School District 6 is seeking parent/guardian feedback on the potential plan to allow students to take their school-issued devices home daily during the 2025–2026 school year.
Your input is important as we explore ways to support learning both in and out of the classroom. This short survey will help us better understand your family's needs, concerns, and preferences regarding daily device use at home.

Spotted at ZESD 6
- East Elementary lit up the night with their PreK Glow Party last Friday in the gym! Students and their families joined the staff for a glow-tastic evening of dancing, laughter, and unforgettable fun. The whole community came together to celebrate in style!
- On Friday, Mrs. Gomez and her students at Elmwood Elementary and their invited family members participated in an adventure. As part of "The Traveling Tourists" project, participants explored significant United States monuments and iconic travel destinations that symbolize our nation's history, culture, and values. Throughout the journey, students enhanced their geographical knowledge by collecting passport stamps at each stop, reinforced their learning by creating interactive flip-flap books, and practiced critical thinking and writing skills by composing opinion essays about their favorite destination. This hands-on event provided a meaningful opportunity to memorably integrate social studies, literacy, and creativity.
- The ZESD 6 Fine Arts Fest lit the stage on April 30 and May 1 at Christ Community Church! Night one featured powerful vocal performances from students of all grade levels and honored winners of the districtwide art show. Families returned Thursday for energetic band and orchestra performances by fifth through eighth graders. The art show, open both nights, highlighted incredible student work from every ZESD 6 school. It was a joyful celebration of the district’s creativity and talent!
