Parents that request bus transportation prior to the May 11th deadline will be contacted by their bus driver directly to be informed of times and locations.
PLEASE NOTE: Students will only be allowed ONE location! You WILL NOT be allowed to call in and change the drop-off location during the school day.

Students ages 11 and up can earn their Missouri Hunter Safety Certification through this specialized two-week summer course. ๐ฆ๐ซ Upon completion, students will receive their official certification. Participants in this program will focus solely on hunter safety for two weeks before resuming normal summer programming. This is a great opportunity for those interested in outdoor recreation and responsible hunting practices!

Love nature? ๐ฑ๐พ Then this hands-on conservation class is for you! Learn about foraging wild plants, understanding ecosystems, and growing your own food. Get moving and stay active! In EDGE Fitness, students will participate in health and fitness activities centered around various athletic opportunities at MJHS. Whether you love sports or just want to improve your fitness, this class will help you stay strong and energized all summer!
โ๏ธ Academic Remediation (Claudette Todd)
Students will engage in grade level appropriate concepts spanning math, ELA, Science, and social studies to reinforce skills they will need to be successful at the next grade level. (students recommended by teachers and administrators will receive additional information)
๐ฏ Hunter Safety Certification

If your HS student qualifies for academic remediation...
These students have been automatically enrolled in our Hybrid Credit Recovery Program for summer school. This program offers students the opportunity to earn necessary credits and stay on track for graduation in a supportive learning environment. A separate communication will be sent soon with details on requesting transportation if needed. This option does not require completion of online enrollment through Infinite Campus. Please watch your inbox for this important information.
SUMMER SCHOOL MEALS
Breakfast and lunch will be provided free of charge for all students, ages 5 years old through 18 years old, this summer, whether or not they are attending summer school. If your student(s) intend(s) to utilize free meals and NOT attend Summer School please notify our kitchen. 417-859-2120 ext. 3710 ask to speak with Ashlynn.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Students will be dropped off and picked up at the circle drive on the north side of FEMA, entering through Door 3N. Parents should turn onto Julian from Locust Street and exit onto North Elm.
High School Student Parking: Students should walk to Door 3S, located on the south side of FEMA between the cafeteria and the Junior High building, and enter the cafeteria each morning. (The front entrance, used during the regular school year, should not be used.)
