LW Marching Arts Update

Today is the last day to pre-order your 2023 LWMI Spirit Wear and Happy Ad. All items can be found on the Charms store. LWMI spirit wear includes short sleeve t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts and hoodies which are unique to this year's invitational. LWMI pins and patches are also on Charms. These items are the same every year.

You can place your Happy Ad order on the Charms store and then fill out this form, so your ad can be featured in our digital program. Please submit this form ASAP!

Our Snap Raise campaign is set to begin at the beginning of October. All LWMB members need to create or re-log in to their Snap Raise account. October 1 is the deadline to enter in 20 emails and include a photo of themselves (preferably in their band uniform).

Our goal is to raise 30,000 through Snap Raise and we can reach that goal if everyone enters 20 email addresses and includes a photo of themselves. Remember - the emails are sent to people you know (family members, friends, etc.) and when they see a photo of you in your band uniform, they are more likely to make a donation.

October 1 is one week away and that means all accounts MUST be up to date on payments. Please note that October 1 is a FIRM deadline for being up to date on all LWMB fees. Students will be unable to march in the October competitions if fees are past due.

Reach out to a director ASAP if needed in regards to fees.

All of us are looking forward to a fun event and are happy to welcome your band and their families to Prospect High School on September 30th. Here is a link to our Fan Guide that will give participants, family and friends some important information for the day, as well as the link to purchase tickets. Please share the Fan Guide link with your band families. There are discounted tickets and t-shirts available until September 15th through GoFan or the Prospect marching band website.

Mark your calendars - the 2023 LWMI is on Saturday, October 14 at LW West. We are excited to partner with Music for All and we will be a Bands of America Affiliate Regional Competition! As of now, 25 bands will be performing at the invitational!

Volunteer sign ups are now posted on Charms. We will need an immense amount of volunteers to make the invitational a huge success. When the volunteer slots are posted, please make every effort to sign up for a slot or two or even the whole day! As a reminder - volunteering at the LWMI fulfills your major volunteer requirement for the year.

We are also accepting donations for drinks. Please sign up via this sign up genius link if you would like to donate. Donating is not a substitution for volunteering. All drinks should be dropped all at LW CENTRAL on Wednesday, October 4 before, during, and after rehearsal.
