PLTW Medical Interventions
PLTW Medical Interventions class attended a field trip to the Purdue Northwest Cadaver Lab. Students in this class have been studying the human body and medicine for the past three years. The Cadaver Lab allowed the students to see the human body and correlate it to what they have been studying. The students were able to see different organs, muscles, bones, and vessels of the human body. The students were also able to see different interventions such as a pacemaker and different diseases such as emphysema. This was a great experience for the PLTW Biomedical Science students.
French Club members attempt to build the Eiffel Tower with toothpicks and marshmallows.
Key Club collects supplies for the Human Society.
A few members of the Spanish Club and friends met Señora Greenwood at the Librarium Café. Hot tea, good conversation and planning makes a great meeting!
Spanish II and III enjoyed a field trip with Señora Greenwood to West Side for an educational and cultural experience. They also practiced their Spanish as they tasted some great Mexican food at La Carreta Restaurant.
This group of people was a tremendous help while decorating for prom on Friday afternoon. A special thanks to Kari and Gary Roach for transporting all of the decorations for us! Also, thanks to all who chaperoned and helped to make it a successful night!
