Happy April Lincoln Families!
This year continues to move full speed ahead as we are already in the month of April. The Arizona state spring AASA testing begins this week with writing for our 3rd and 4th grade students. Our 3rd graders will test on Wednesday, April 3rd and 4th graders will test on Thursday, April 4th. Please help support your child's success by ensuring that they get a good night's sleep and eat a well-balanced breakfast each day. In addition, please ensure your child arrives to school on-time or is not signed out early for any appointments on their testing days. If a student leaves school early during a test, he/she will not able to complete that section when they return. We appreciate your help in supporting our students to demonstrate their best learning on these days. Thank you!
Thank you to the families who attended our Family Learning Game Night last Thursday at Lincoln School. We had a good number of students and families who attended and participated in this event and got to take home some fun and engaging learning activities for at-home practice and fun. We always love to include our families in what we do at Lincoln School. See the pictures below!
Also, congratulation and thank you to Emma Heinemann who was Lincoln School's Administrative Assistant for the Day and Audrey Bazzell, Principal for the Day, last Friday, March 29th. These two amazing young ladies have given Mrs. Bell and me a run for our money! They did a tremendous job filling our roles last week and assisting to run our movie incentive and flag ceremonies. These two young ladies demonstrated high levels of professionalism and will, no doubt, have success as future leaders. Thank you Emma and Audrey for leading Lincoln School last Friday!
