Medication Pickup from Health Office
Please make arrangements to pick up all student medications from the health office before the end of the school year.
- Students are allowed to pick up over-the-counter medications
- Parents/guardians must pick up prescription medications in person
Any medications left in the health office after the last day of school will be safely disposed of.
2025 - 2026 7th Grade Physicals
Nebraska law requires every seventh grade student to have either a doctor's physical or waiver signed by a parent/guardian before entering seventh grade in August. Seventh grade physicals must be dated within 6 months prior to the first day of school. 2025 – 2026 Sports Physicals
Seventh and eighth grade students planning to participate in sports through BMS, are required to have a physical and it must be dated after May 1, 2025. For questions regarding sports physicals and paperwork, please contact Tassie Little, Beadle Athletic Director, at tflittle@mpsomaha.org.
Spring Events
Spring Concert
On Tuesday, May 6th the Beadle Jazz Band will have a combined concert with the 5th grade bands from Reeder, Reagan and Wheeler Elementary Schools.
The Concert begins at 6:30 PM in the Beadle Gym. Students participating in the concerts should wear their purple music polos shirt and black pants and arrive at Beadle at 6:00 pm to warm up/tune up.
Spring Fling
To celebrate the end of the year, Student Council is hosting our annual Spring Fling party for 6th and 7th graders. This exciting and fun event offers students a live DJ for dancing, open gym for basketball, an obstacle course bounce house, a photobooth, door prizes, and pizza, pop, and a cookie for everyone! Spring Fling will take place Monday, May 12 from 3:30 - 5PM at Beadle. Tickets will be sold for $5.00 before school beginning Wednesday, May 7th. Ticket prices will raise to $6.00 at the door of the event. We hope to see our 6th and 7th graders there!
8th Grade Honors Night
It gives us great pride to invite your family to our 24th Annual Eighth Grade Honors Night, which will be held at Beadle Middle School on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. During Honors Night we will celebrate your child’s academic accomplishments and participation in activities while at Beadle.
Since this is a special occasion, we ask students to dress nicely. Please no jeans, shorts or t-shirts. Cookies will be served in the MPR area at Beadle Middle School after the ceremony.

8th Grade Bon Voyage
Our 8th grade class is almost done with their time at Beadle. To end their year, we have an end of the year party called Bon Voyage. This is held Tuesday, May 20th at Papio Fun Park from 3:30-5:30. Parents are responsible for transportation to & from the event.
Yearbooks
Yearbooks will be handed out on Friday, May 16th in Bulldog Block. All fees and owed lunch money must be paid in order for students to receive their Yearbook on time.
25-26 Show Choir Auditions
Dear Beadle Families,
All current 6th and 7th graders will have the opportunity to audition for the Varsity Show Choirs ! Beadle has two Varsity Show Choirs:
Show Dogs - our Mixed Voices group (soprano, alto, tenor, bass)
Encore - our Treble Voices group (soprano, alto)

If show choir works in your schedule and your child is interested in auditioning please fill out the following TWO Forms:
1. Basic Information Form -please double check that email addresses are correct
2. Audition Day/Time Sign Up -please sign up for your day/time - you will be signing up in groups of 4

All information regarding auditions will be located in the google classroom. Parents and students are also welcome to email me at any time with questions!
Mr. Engstrom will also be working on audition material in choir rehearsals.
Results will be posted in the Google Classroom on Saturday, May 17th at 1 p.m.
Mandatory Initial Parent Meeting
For all students who make Show Dogs and Encore, there will be a parent meeting on Sunday, May 18th at 5 p.m. in the Beadle MPR and should last about 35 minutes. Please plan to have one or more parents attend the meeting.

2026 Boston/NYC Beadle 8th-Grade Trip
All current 7th-grade students at Beadle will have the opportunity to go on our annual 8th-grade class trip during the summer of 2026. The enrollment form to register is attached if you are interested. This is all done through the Global Travel Alliances website. The first 64 students to register will be guaranteed a spot. Once we get to 65 students, a waitlist will be created. The trip is for next year's 8th graders only. Beadle teachers will be the chaperones. Parents are not allowed to register for the trip. You may sign up ASAP to guarantee a spot. We will have an informational meeting on Thursday, September 4, 2025 in the Beadle gym at 6:00 PM to explain everything about the trip. If you have any questions, please email either Mr. Sukraw or Mr. Keasling (8th grade history teachers)
