February 2025 Newsletter
Dear Cypress Families,
It's Flu season and we do have it going around! Please be sure to monitor when your child says they don't feel well. Our school nurse has shared that this Flu strain can be active on surfaces for up to 48 hours. Cleaning areas with antibacterial and washing hands is crucial to stop the spread. I have asked my custodians to do additional cleaning of door handles and push bars throughout our school as well. We want everyone to be healthy and learning! If your child is out for an extended period, please call the office to get work sent home either with a neighbor or stop by and pick it up. As your child feels better, they can catch up from missed lessons. Other options to not get behind are to have your child log into their MyPascoConnect page and go on our two digital learning resources: Lexia for reading and Zearn for math.

Our next PTO Meeting is on Tuesday, March 25. We invite all to attend and help us plan our yearly Art Showcase, PTO Family Game Night, Ice Cream Social (April 15 from 5-7 PM), and Staff Appreciation Week in May.
