As the end of September nears, we wanted to reach out and ask for your support regarding students' behaviors. We have witnessed an increase in students being physical when frustrated, angry about a situation or simply goofing around, unable to keep their hands to themselves.
We want to emphasize the importance of maintaining an environment focused on student engagement and learning, while limiting distractions.
These behaviors will result in an office referral with phone calls made to families by the students, paired with consequences. We aim to set a standard in school that encourages appropriate play, interactions and problem solving.
We appreciate your support in helping to remind students of school appropriate behaviors and play. We will continue to work with families to improve behaviors and lessen distractions and situations that keep themselves and others from learning. Thank you!
