STEM ACADEMY OF HOLLYWOOD

Dear Families, Students, Staff and Teachers,

This past week, the community of STEM Academy of Hollywood hosted and participated in the BUILD Fest Competition, PBL Presentations, Senior Showcase, Awards Night and athletic banquets. Our school appreciates and thanks everyone who planned/coordinated events and stayed after school to support our students.

As we go through the last days of this semester, we will continue hosting exciting events. Please remind our students to sleep and eat well to prepare for the final exams and the iReady assessment.

To our Seniors, 👩🏽‍🎓! Graduation will take place this Friday from 6:00-8:00pm. Please attend school until the last day of the semester. Our school will be hosting activities for you. See the flyer for more details.

• Today, Monday our school is closed in observance of Memorial Day. A day to remember and honor those who served.
• On Tuesday, we will be hosting the Alumni Fair, and we will have a modified schedule. See flyer for details.
• Senior Graduation Practice will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please be on time and see Ms. Forte for more details.
• Grades 9, 10 and 11 will be taking the End of the Year iReady test this Wednesday. Students will be in Advisory all day taking the test while seniors will be participating in the Senior Breakfast hosted by EduCare.
• The EduCare De-Stress Day will also be on Wednesday from 4-6 while the Kaiser Internship event will be from 5:30-7:30 in the library.
• The Grading Window opens this Thursday. Please encourage your students to attend school, prepare for their finals and improve their grades by attending tutoring.
• The last Coffee with the Principal will be this Thursday at 9:30. Join us! We will celebrate our volunteers and parents/guardians who have been participating in our school events. Refreshments will be served!
• The SBA Luau Pool event will be this Thursday at 11:30. Eligible students will receive an invitation.
• On Friday our school will be hosting the Graduation from 6:00-8:00. See the flyer for more details.
