Reading Context clues and sequence, analyzing a poem.
Math: 4 digit numbers, perimeter and area.
IXL to do for this week: 3r Grade B1, B2, FF1, FF2, FF6
Writing: A letter
Grammar: Elements of a dialogue, review of spelling
Social Studies: Cinco de Mayo and sculptures in Dallas (Cattle Drive, etc.)
Project: My favorite Spanish-speaking country. Project to be done in groups. Presentation will be on May 17th. Information to parents this week.

Poem: Margarita by Rubén Darío (second part)
Moral: Hasta el cuarenta de mayo, no te quites el sayo. Do not take out your jacket until May 40th - meaning it can be still cold even in June.
