It’s hard to believe that June is here and we only have 14 days of school left. I feel we have a lot to still fit in with such a short amount of time remaining. The students got to have an exciting assembly from Funny Farm Animal Rescue. A big thank you to the Parents Club and Renaissance for organizing this for the students. The students really enjoyed seeing the animals and learning how to care for them. A great way to extend everyone’s Pet Study.

On June 10th and June 11th students will have a day to share in some exciting and fun outdoor activities with our Parent’s Club sponsored FUN DAY. More information will be forthcoming from your child’s classroom teacher.

Then on June 13, 14, and/or 17th, we hope you will be able to join us for the classroom end of the year celebrations. The end-of-the-year celebration is a time for the teacher to highlight all of the fun, learning, and accomplishments that have occurred throughout the school year for all of the students. This is not a preschool graduation or called a graduation since students are being promoted to kindergarten and many of our students will be returning to the program in the fall. If you are able to attend, we ask that attendance be kept to two adults per child and please NO siblings. Also, if any food is being brought in, please double check with the classroom teacher that it meets our approved food list.

Es difícil creer que Junio ya está aquí y solo nos quedan 14 días de clases. Siento que todavía tenemos mucho que encajar con tan poco tiempo restante. Los estudiantes tuvieron una asamblea emocionante de Funny Farm Animal Rescue. Muchas gracias al Club de Padres y a Renaissance por organizar esto para los estudiantes. Los estudiantes realmente disfrutaron viendo a los animales y aprendiendo cómo cuidarlos. Una excelente manera de ampliar el estudio de mascotas de todos.

El 10 y 11 de Junio, los estudiantes tendrán un día para compartir algunas actividades al aire libre emocionantes y divertidas con el FUN DAY patrocinado por nuestro Club de Padres. El maestro del salón de clases de su hijo le proporcionará más información.

Luego, el 13, 14 y/o 17 de Junio, esperamos que puedan acompañarnos en las celebraciones de fin de año en el aula. La celebración de fin de año es un momento para que el maestro destaque toda la diversión, el aprendizaje y los logros que han ocurrido a lo largo del año escolar para todos los estudiantes. Esta no es una graduación de preescolar ni se llama graduación, ya que algunos de los estudiantes están siendo promovidos al Kindergarten y muchos de nuestros estudiantes regresarán al programa en el otoño. Si puede asistir, le pedimos que la asistencia se mantenga a dos adultos por niño y que NO haya hermanos. Además, si se trae algún alimento, verifique con el maestro del salón que cumpla con nuestra lista de alimentos aprobados .

We had a very special guest this week, Adrian from Ms. Chelsea Taylor's class led us in the pledge of allegiance and he did an awesome job!

We are growing in C110 and so is the hair we planted! Jelly fish, sharks, sea foam and a fun ocean snack!

Ms. Brittny and Miss Kearston’s class made kites for letter K in the ABC Countdown. We had fun making them and even more fun flying them!

Our Pre-Schoolers were treated to a visit from the "Funny Farm" Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, Ms. Laurie Zaleski came out with a few of her fur friends to share with the students and to remind us all how important it is to take care of the animals.
