Dear Parents/Carers,
On Tuesday of this week, a small group of pupils walked to Pontefract Library to attend a litter poster ceremony led by the Pontefract Civic Society. I am very pleased to share that one of our Year 1 pupils achieved First Prize place. Congratulations and well done to Matilda A.
Pupils from each phase have now been selected to receive an award for completing the bridge challenge during Science Week. The bridges had to hold a heavy weight and allow a car to pass underneath. There were some fabulous bridge designs from everyone and choosing the winners was a difficult task. Well done to these pupils who each received a Science Week Winner medal.
Today, we have shown our support for Red Nose Day by wearing something red or non-school uniform. Teachers have also spoken to the pupils about the important work of the charity. We have set up a funding page for any donations you wish to give. Please see previous communications for the link.
