Summer Newsletter - July 10
Wednesday, July 10
While summer is a time for relaxation, it's also an opportunity for enrichment. I encourage you to take advantage of our beautiful riverfront, the playgrounds and outdoor activities of Big Hill Park, our local library and all its free programming, our area attractions, including the Welty Center, Beckman Mill, and many of our summer engagements hosted at our schools. Visit Beloit has a wonderful website that highlights lots of summer events and activities.
Communication is key to a successful partnership between home and school. Throughout the summer, please stay tuned to our school website, social media channels, email communications, text messages, and newsletters for updates, important announcements, and back-to-school information.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your ongoing support and collaboration in your child(ren) 's education. Your involvement makes a meaningful difference and is deeply valued by our school community.
In service,
Dr. Willie E. Garrison II
School District of Beloit Superintendent
Registration is open - secure a bright and promising future for your child(ren) by registering for the upcoming school year! We look forward to another year filled with growth and learning.
This year, we've simplified the process by offering online registration through Skyward Family Access. It's quick, easy, and will save you time!
To assist with online registration, we have prepared a user-friendly step-by-step video tutorial along with clear instructions to walk you through the process seamlessly. Access our registration webpage to view the video.
Please reach out to your school secretary or our Central Enrollment Office with any questions.
Important Updates
If you registered before June 18, you will need to go back into Skyward to see if your student has any outstanding fees that need to be paid before the start of the school year.
If you believe your family may qualify for waived fees, please ensure you complete the alternate household income form. This form should be returned to your child's school or the Kolak Education Center. The form can also be completed electronically by logging into your Skyward Family Access account.
