Principal's Message
Hello Vista Academy Families,
We hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween and got some additional rest and family time on our day off. We ended the week with our first Spooktacular Stroll-a-thon. The student costumes were super creative and the activities were fun. We are currently at $19,000 raised and inching closer to our goal of $25,000. Keep sharing with family and friends so we can make our goal. The Dia de los Muertos festival was a huge success with crafts, food, and performances. Thanks for everyone who supported and volunteered at both events.
Our fall Book Fair is starting tomorrow. Feel free to stop by and pick up some books for student fall reading. Flyer is below.
Our Taking Action Conservatory is hosting their Talent Show this Friday at 3 PM and it will begin with a book tasting. Your ticket into the event is a new toiletry item to be donated to Operation Hope. You won't want to miss this afternoon filled with books and performances. Information can be found below.
Our next Bulldog Boogie is this coming Friday, November 8th. Please join us on teh upper blacktop for information, celebrations and announcements. Our next ELAC meeting will follow Bulldog Boogie in the PAC on Friday, November 8.
We are excited to have our first schoolwide incentive Paws party for students who have earned purple PAWS slips for outstanding behavior. We will be hosting a glow dance party for students on Friday, November 8 during their lunch recesses in the gym. Admission is 5 PAWS slips.
Have a great evening,

Get Ready for a Fun-Filled Afternoon: Book Tasting & Talent Show Extravaganza!
We’re combining two awesome events into one unforgettable afternoon! Join us right after school for a *book tasting* – a super fun way to dive into new books as a family. And guess what? Thanks to the amazing Dr. Seuss grant, you’ll have a chance to win brand-new copies of the books you read during the talent show's intermission!
After the book tasting, the fun continues with our Talent Show starting around 3:00 PM! Prepare to be wowed by the incredible talent in our community!
Don’t forget...For entry into the talent show, bring a toiletry item to donate to Operation Hope’s shelter. They’ve shared their top-needed items, so let’s make a difference together!
Come for the books, stay for the talent, and leave with a smile (and maybe even a free book)! See you there!
