Please join Elrod Elementary in honoring our Veterans at our Veterans Day Tribute on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the gym.

All Veterans and Active Military along with their guests are invited to join us before the tribute from 1:30-2:00 pm for light refreshments in the library.

Please click on the link below to RSVP to our event. Kindly respond to our RSVP by Wednesday, November 6th. Parents who are coming to watch their choir students perform do not need to RSVP.

Veterans Day RSVP

In preparation for Veterans Day, your child should have received a Veterans Day Hero page to complete for any family members or friends who have served in the military to be honored in our Elrod hallways. This is an optional activity but we would love for our hallways to be decorated with pictures of those who have served our country. If you need additional hero pages, please let your child's teacher know.

The Purple Star Campus Designation is a distinct honor created by the Texas Legislature to recognize Texas public schools that show their support and commitment to meeting the unique needs of military-connected students and their families. Thank you to Counselor Parra for helping us achieve this honor.

Just a reminder to everyone that our parking lot has designated handicap spots reserved for those with the proper placard or license plate. Your understanding and adherence to this guideline are greatly appreciated.
