Welcome Back!
First Day of School - September 5, 2023
Dear Wildcat Community,
We are ready for our first day of school! The hallways are gleaming, our classrooms are ready for learning, and we are excited for the start of the school year! Our teachers and staff have been working hard in and out of the classrooms to get our school ready for fun and learning. On September 1, we held a day of professional development that covered important information for our staff.
Our goal is to quickly establish daily routines that will carry us through the school year. With that being said, please see below related to arrival and dismissal procedures:
Arrival:
- Arrival procedures will begin at 8:35 AM.
- All student walkers will enter the front of the school in Door 1.
- All students driven to school will enter through Door 18 (Back of the school). Please have your children ready for a quick drop off.
- Bus students arriving will enter through either door 12 (Grades 1-5) or door 13 (Kindergarten)
- School staff are strategically placed throughout the school to provide guidance and safety to the students
Dismissal:
- Staggered dismissal procedures will begin at the end of the day. Student safety patrols and school staff aid our students in dismissal
- Walkers and car riders will be dismissed at 2:50 PM
- Car riders will leave through two doors in C-wing. Please pick your students up at the back of the school. Car ferry lanes will be organized and form to ensure a safe pickup for our students. No cars will leave ferry lanes until every student is in a car. Please be patient with this process during the first few days and throughout the year!
- Most walkers will exit through the front entrance. Kindergarten walkers will be walked by a teacher out Door 6 (Near the Kindergarten playground)
- Students who are bussed will be walked by members of our safety patrol to their individual bus after assembling by bus number inside the school.
Thank you for driving and walking safely during this process!

Attendance and Code of Conduct
Attendance Counts!
#everystudentmatterseverymomentcounts
Student attendance and positive student behavior are vitally important to their success and the success of our school as a whole. We need your help! Please make sure our Wildcats are here on time, here every day, and are ready to learn and grow safely.
Our attendance initiatives and our PBSIS program are targeted to use positive supports to accomplish these two specific goals.
For your convenience, I have linked the student handbook and the district's code of conduct below. Please review these documents at your earliest convenience.
Congratulations Mr. Kleiner!
