Spartan Food Pantry
Spartan Food Pantry is Open Again, Its our 3rd year!
· Open every Wednesday 2:30-4:00 PM
· Spartan Families in “need” of Food Support are Welcomed and Encouraged to Visit!
· Our Food Selection includes a variety of fresh, dry, and canned foods
· Bring your Shopping Bag
If you can Volunteer, please let us know and Join Our Pantry Helpers!
Detention
If you have earned a detention, please check in with the Supervision Office to serve it. Not serving your detention can result in all day IC and/or Saturday School, which is coming up on September 21st. Once your detention is served, you will become eligible to attend games and dances. If you have any questions, stop by the Supervision Office.
Junior Visit
Counselor will be meeting with Juniors one on one in their English classes next week 9/30- 10/4 to review graduation plans.
Counselors will call students out individually to discuss their graduation plan and provide students' a copy of their transcript along with a handout containing information on credits, tutoring, credit remediation, and post-secondary options
MVA students will be contacted via Schoology message to schedule their individual junior meeting.
HOSA
HOSA is hosting the fall blood drive on October 10th at Davis High School. Any student 16 years of age or older who meets the height and weight requirements is eligible to donate. Every 2 seconds someone needs blood and one donation can save 3 lives. Permission slips will be available at lunch at a table by the office, in room 907 and from Health Academy students and they can be returned to the same places. Please sign up to save a life! We can all make a difference!
October 1-4 is Breast Cancer Awareness Week at Davis! HOSA will be hosting activities including games at lunch in the activity court Tuesday and Wednesday and passing out ribbons and bracelets Thursday and Friday! Make sure you participate and raise awareness for Breast Cancer this week and this month.
Monday- 09/30
Picture Make-up
Monday will be our last make-up picture day for students who have not received their ID cards. We will have call slips delivered for students who still need to have their pictures taken. If you’d like to get your picture done early, they will be ready to go during zero period in the Little Theatre.

5Star Store
The 5Star store will be open at lunch. Come to the SBO to redeem your points!

College & Career
Spartans, make sure to wear your favorite College T-shirts every Thursday of the week.
Pink Out Football Game
Come dressed in pink to our annual pink out football game to honor those who have been affected by breast cancer. JV starts at 5pm and Varsity starts at 7pm at Downey.
