Falcon Zone SAC - Quarter 3
Beginning this school year, the Falcon Zone is trying something new in regards to SAC (School Accountability Committee) meetings! Our first 2 meetings were a success, and we hope to see even more of you there 3rd quarter!
Our hope is that this Zone-Wide model will...
- encourage more community members to get involved with our schools without having to attend 6 different school meetings.
- allow for zone-level information (like curriculum adoptions) to be shared with all SACs, ensuring everyone hears the same message.
- replace the Falcon Zone Coalition and allow us to partner with the community more.
- allow for zone level event planning, which our community has voiced they want more community-wide/zone-wide/school-wide events to help with the "small town" Falcon feel.
After the short, zone-level SAC meeting, each building will break out into building-level SACs as required by CDE.
We will be discussing our Zone Community event, scheduled for April 12th, at this meeting!
Our hope is to see increased participation from all community stakeholders and grow engagement!
Dinner will be provided starting at 5pm with the meeting beginning at 5:30 -
This month we will be enjoying Breakfast for Dinner!
