Greetings, Parents of 3rd-10th Grade Frontier Students!

Please register your student today for the AK STAR assessment. Both the Eagle River and Anchorage offices have multiple times available for greater convenience!

The AK STAR ELA and mathematics assessments are aligned to the MAP Growth benchmark assessment in a partnership with NWEA and DEED.

LANGUAGE ARTS (3rd - 9th) Monday, March 24, 9am or 1pm Thurs, March 27, 9am or 1pm

MATH (3rd - 9th) Tuesday, March 25, 9am or 1pm Wed, March 26, 9am or 1pm

The Youth Art Month exhibits, featuring artwork from students all throughout ASD, are up through April 5 at the Anchorage Museum, the Loussac Library, the Muldoon Library and the Chugiak-Eagle River Library.

Great News! King Tech High School is offering a 3rd session for students in grades 9 through 12. Starting on Monday, March 24, King Tech will be offering several Career and Technical Education courses after school at King Tech High School. The 3rd session will run for 7 weeks, Monday through Thursday, from 4-5:30 pm. Bus transportation will be provided. The courses are worth a .5 elective credit and a letter grade for completing the course. Please see your advisor to register and please visit our website for more details.

First enrollment deadline is next Thursday, Mar 6 !!!

The District goal is 90% participation for students and staff. School support for this important survey is greatly appreciated.

March 7th is our spending deadline for the year. Any requisitions or reimbursements need to submitted in SALTT by this date. If you know of any expenses coming up, please get your order or reimbursement in as soon as possible.
