💡 Reminders
Daylight Savings Time - It's Time to Spring Forward
Daylight Savings Time (DST) is the practice of setting the clocks one hour from standard time during the summer months, and back one hour again in the fall in order to make better use of natural daylight. “Spring For-ward, Fall Back, “ is one of the little sayings used to remember which way to set your clock. United States Inventor and Politician Benjamin Franklin first proposed the concept of DST in 1784, but modern Daylight Savings Time was first suggested in 1895. Less than 40% of the countries in the world use DST, where some use it to make better use of natural daylight in the evenings. Studies have shown that DST could lead to fewer road accidents and injuries by supplying more daylight during the hours were people are utilizing the roads.
Daylight Savings Time Begins: March 10, 2024 and Ends on November 3, 2024
