Learning in the Library
September is a month of introduction and review for our little library learners.
Depending on their grade, students:
- did a library scavenger hunt to discover the rearranged space,
- made their shelf markers (library cards),
- discussed expectations for safety, responsibility, and respect,
- checked out their first books,
- started using the Mood Meter to name and explain their feelings,
- began contributing to Team Library by taking responsibility for our classroom Jobs
I'm looking forward to supporting students as they think, create, share, and grow in our library during the months to come!
Reads of the Week
Each week I celebrate a book I am loving with the students. Below are the Reads of the Week since the beginning of the year.
Happy Reading!
