From School Administration
This week was American Education Week. It was wonderful to welcome parents/guardians to our school to visit classrooms.
Parent Conferences will be held next week, and school will dismiss three hours early on Monday, November 25, and Tuesday, November 26 (12:15 p.m.). We are very pleased with your response in scheduling these important meetings with your child’s teacher. We are eager to describe our programs of instruction and provide information about your child’s progress so far this year. Please remember, even though those two days next week are half days, they count as full days for attendance purposes. Please send your child to school both days!
Happy Thanksgiving
This is the final Falcon Flier newsletter until December 6. Thanksgiving is almost here, and our school year is moving along quickly. At this time each year, we often reflect on all of the things that we are thankful for. We are grateful for all of the wonderful people at Phelps Luck Elementary School. We have wonderful students, amazing staff, and supportive parents. Our school is such a wonderful place because all of these people are willing to work together towards achieving the goal of success.
On behalf of the entire Phelps Luck Staff, we wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Mr. Cosentino, Ms. Anderson, and Mrs. Grenzer

2024 Scholastics Book Fair
We are looking for volunteers to help us with our 2024 Scholastics Bookfair. All profits go back to the Media Center and classrooms at Phelps Luck as books. Let's gift our school with new pages filled with adventures as you help students pick the books they would like to buy.

Spirit Days
Please find the Spirit Day Schedule for the year below. We hope this helps in the planning and participation in our fun spirit days this year.
Early Pickup Reminder
To ensure smooth end-of-day procedures, please plan to pick up your child no later than 2:45 p.m. This helps us maintain a focused learning environment and ensures the safety and smooth dismissal of all students. Picking up students after this time can disrupt classroom activities and interfere with dismissal procedures.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us provide the best possible environment for all students!
Reporting Student Absences
If your student is absent or will be absent, please contact us at the following email address to explain the reason: PLESabsence@hcpss.org. In the email, please Include the following information:
