Hello Tolson Families,
Tucson heat is still going strong so remember to send your kids with water bottles! Tolson shirts are available for pre-order until Sep 20th! Please see the front office to fill out a form for purchase. Folklorico begins later this month please remember to sign and return permission slips by Sep 13th! Keep in mind only grades 2nd - 5th will be included in folklorico this school year. Also, for any after school programs students MUST be picked up at 4 pm otherwise school safety will be called.

- No School on Sep 2nd - Happy Labor Day!
- Fall Picture Day is Sep 5th - Order online only! Use code: 86667QB at inter-state.com/order
- PTO Popsicle Party is Sep 13th - PTO will sell popsicles for $1 CASH ONLY during student lunches
- Peter Piper Fundraiser is also Sep 13th - Come support Tolson at Peter Piper at 1380 N Silverbell Rd from 5pm-8pm mention Tolson and 15% of sale support our school!
- Parent-Teacher Conferences begin Sep 18th-20th - There will be early dismissal at 11:40 on these days! Schedule a meeting with your students teacher soon!
- Folklorico begins Sep 23rd - Please turn in permission slips by Sep 13th! All students must be picked up by 4pm

General Safety Reminders: Please help us keep your children safe!
- Students are not allowed to enter the building before 7:30 a.m. There is no supervision until that time.
- Do not park and abandon your vehicle in the designated drop-off/pick-up lane or in the bus bays. This causes major problems during drop off and dismissal. Please use either parking lots when visiting.
- Follow speed limits in the “School Zones”.
- Encourage your child to report all injuries or unsafe conditions to any adult on campus. If we do not know about circumstances when students are unsafe, we can’t intervene to help.
- Always walk your child into the office when they are tardy. This is a District policy that is in place to keep your child safe. Never have your children walk to school alone when they are going to be significantly tardy.
- Parent pick-up students must be picked up in designated area in front of school. Please do not park in front of the building.
- You are welcome to sign students out before dismissal when appropriate. Please check them out in our front office.
- Parents/Guardians MUST call the front office when making a change in dismissal procedure. Thank you for helping us keep your child safe!
