Student Parking Decals—we still have a few parking decals available. Sophomores who are eligible to drive (current driver’s license) can purchase a decal from Ms. Weston in the front office. The cost of the decal is $40. Registration forms can be picked up in the front office. Reminder that decals are first come, first serve.

If you are interested in applying to programs at the Burton Center for Arts and Technology next school year, the application deadline is Monday, January 15. All applications submitted after the deadline are automatically placed on the wait list.

Attention Seniors and Parents of Seniors! The Career Center at Cave Spring is excited to offer 15-minute FAFSA assistance appointments this December!

The new 2025/26 FAFSA form is now available for all seniors!

If you and your senior are looking for assistance in completing the FAFSA, the Career Center at Cave Spring will be offering a limited number of 15-minute appointments to assist you with the process. Appointments are available outside of regular school hours only on the following dates/times:

Tuesday Dec 3: 3:30-6:45pm

Thursday Dec 5: 3:30-6:45pm

Tuesday Dec 10: 3:30-6:45pm

Thursday Dec 12: 3:30-6:45pm

Upon registering for an appointment, I will email you a checklist for both senior AND parent to complete at least 3 days prior to your appointment. This MUST be completed in order to ensure your appointment goes smoothly.

This year, CSHS DECA took 68 members to compete at the District Leadership Competition at Roanoke College. We’re thrilled to share that 17 of our students placed in the top ten, and 7 placed in the top four, which qualifies them to advance to the state competition in their events.

Cave Spring Band program had eight students chosen to participate in the Virginia Tech Honor Band event in January. Over 700 students were nominated for this event, and it is exceptional to have so many students accepted to take part.
