Costumes and Candy
Halloween is a fun and festive time of year, and many students enjoy dressing up in costumes. However, it is important to ensure that costumes are school-appropriate and do not interfere with classroom lessons.
Costumes are allowed at school on October 31st, but masks are not. This is because masks can make it difficult for teachers to identify students and can also pose a safety hazard. Minimal face painting is allowed on October 31st. Gruesome or offensive costumes will not permitted nor will any costume that interferes with classroom lessons or creates a hallway distraction. Have your student bring a change of clothes if you are unsure about your costume.
Finally, Halloween candy is not allowed on campus, to include Tik Tok candy bowls during lunch. Students should enjoy their treats at home. Any candy that is brought to school will be confiscated and will not be returned.
We want to have fun and still have an environment that fosters learning. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Chick-Fil-A Update
Thank you to everyone who came out on our Chick-fil-a Battle of the School night. Chick-fil-a has reached out to the campuses and Briscoe can claim the chick-fil-a throne! We had over 190 Chick-fil-a receipts. As such, we are getting food credit from the store. We will use the food credit for faculty meetings, student meetings and other student clubs so they can order food for our students.
Thanks again for support Briscoe. We couldn't do it without you!
