MCAULIFFE MESSENGER
May 10, 2024
Dear McAuliffe Families,
I want to share some important news regarding the leadership at McAuliffe Elementary School with you. After 11 years as principal, I will transition to work on special projects in the Curriculum and Special Education Departments for the 2024-25 school year.
Throughout my time at McAuliffe, I have cherished the strong relationships within our school community, particularly with our exceptional students. I will truly miss the bright smiles, curious minds, and enthusiasm for learning they bring to our school every day.
Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Mr. Jim Hanley, the next principal of McAuliffe Elementary School. He brings with him a wealth of experience from Keller Elementary School and will continue the legacy of excellence at McAuliffe.
Additionally, Ms. Kelly Folliard, our dedicated assistant principal, has been appointed the new principal of Bannes Elementary School. We wish Ms. Folliard all the best and know she will excel in her new role.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership in your child’s education. I wish each and
every one of you, all the best!
Kind regards,
Dr. Szczasny
Principal, McAuliffe School
HELP!! LOST AND FOUND!
Our lost and found is overflowing! As you can see there are water bottles, coats, jackets, and many miscellaneous items. Please, if your child's items have gone missing, ask them to look through the lost and found. Unclaimed items will be donated on June 4. We appreciate your help, many of these are left behind from Ivy League. Call the office with questions. Thank you!
