PACK will be hosting a Meet & Greet event for our Room Parent Volunteers @ 4:30 pm in the Den! *If you would like to become a Room Parent please reach out to your Wolves' teacher.
PACK Board Meeting will immediately follow @ 5 pm.
Thursday, 9/12
Club Cancellation Notice: Wise Wolves will be cancelled on Thursday. Please be sure to pick up your Wolves at normal dismissal time.

8th Grade Costa Rica Trip

Fall Portraits
Last week, our Wolves had their fall portraits taken, and they looked fantastic! The portraits will be available for purchase about one week from the day they were taken. To buy the portraits, you'll need your student's ID number. Please check your email or text messages for this information. Make up pictures will be held on Tuesday, October 15th.
PAW Patrol
Are you looking for a way to volunteer at ASA? Join the PAW Patrol (Parents of Awesome Wolves)! PAW Patrol is an innovative parental involvement initiative aa ASA Thrive that invites mothers, fathers, guardians and/ or significant family members to volunteer at least one day a year. Volunteering can include assisting teachers in their classrooms, helping out at recess or even helping out at school events! Click here to read our Volunteer Orientation Training Guide.
Lost & Found
Please be aware that our Lost and Found items will be donated at the end of each month. If your Wolf has misplaced any belongings, please remind them to check the Lost and Found.
Parents and guardians are also welcome to check the Lost and Found before, during & after the school day.

Have Medication(s) For Your Wolf?
If your Wolf requires daily, as needed, and/or emergency medication in the health office for the 2024-2025 school year please make sure you have completed all the medication forms required. All medication, including prescribed and over the counter must have a physician signed authorization form. Please visit the Health Office Web Page-ASA Thrive Chino, to find all the necessary forms required for your child’s medical needs.
ELOP Information
We are thrilled to offer a variety of sports and clubs this year, providing students with opportunities to thrive, learn, and grow. These activities also highlight the importance of regular school attendance.
Please remember that students must be present during the regular school day to participate in any after-school competitions. Additionally, after two late pick-ups from any club or session, your child will not be able to participate in clubs for the rest of the year. Dismissal for clubs is at 4:05 pm.
Mileage Club
Mileage Club is a school-wide wellness initiative starting on Friday, August 30. Students are invited to join us every Friday morning from 7:30 a.m. to 7:55 a.m. to run laps around the field and track their miles. They can work toward the 100 Mile Club and earn recognition along the way. Teachers will also take students to participate during the school day.
For before-school participation, a waiver must be on file. Waivers can be accessed through your Parent Portal. Please click here for instructions on creating or accessing your PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Social Emotional Learning Skills for 9/9-9/13
As our ASA Counseling Program grows we want to share with our families what we are learning and focusing on as a school in the socio-emotional realm. Each week will feature the school wide Social Emotional Learning (SEL) skill, a breathing strategy, and grade level lesson topics.

Breathing Strategy of the week: Body Scan
Counseling Lessons this week will be in 1st and 2nd grade learning about naming and identifying our feelings. When we can name our feelings and talk about how they are impacting our body it helps us to handle uncomfortable moments and problems.
