FVE NEWS
APRIL 2025
Dear Frontier Valley Families,
We hope you all enjoyed a relaxing spring break and that our students are feeling recharged and ready to finish the school year strong! We are thrilled to share that our March Bingo Madness fundraiser was a huge success, and we want to extend a special thank you to Lauren Storey, Katie Oliver, Leah Woodbury, and Laura Anne Kenwick for planning and coordinating the event. The success of this fundraiser was made possible by the many donations and the generous support from our community. We appreciate everyone who helped with donations, decorations, volunteering, and more. Your support means so much and truly makes our school special! The funds raised will be used to support teacher grants, purchase new library books, and provide materials that benefit all of the students at Frontier Valley Elementary. We hope your family enjoyed this fun event!.
Additionally, we are proud to recognize the recipients of the Apple Award from Frontier Valley. This year, we had two deserving representatives: Dr. Ru Jennings, our school psychologist, and Kelly Taylor, an educational assistant. Both were celebrated at the district awards ceremony on March 29th. We are incredibly proud of the staff who continually support all of our Buffaloes here at FVE!
Cheerfully,
Kiersten

K-4th Grade Students: Intent to Return 2025-2026
Dear Kindergarten - 4th Grade Parents,
We have begun the process of staffing for next year and making plans for our classrooms. In order to do this, we need to know if your child/children will not be attending Frontier Valley next year. Please email Jeanne Johnson at jjohnson11@dcsdk12.org if your family will be moving or going to another school. We will really miss your child/children if they aren't here and are no longer an FVE buffalo!
5th Grade Families: This process does not apply to you - congratulations to your students as they move on to their next chapter!
