The Hagan Scholarship (added 11/1/24) DEADLINE: DECEMBER 1, 2024
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients “regardless of nationality” with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. The scholarship provides up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters. Applicants must graduate from a high school located in the United States. Eligible high schools include public, private, charter, magnet, and STEM schools. The Applicant’s Adjusted Gross Household Income reported for 2023 Federal Income Tax Purposes must not have exceeded $100,000. Free workshops, Free Schwab Brokerage Accounts, and Free Study Abroad provide recipients with a practical understanding of important life skills not typically covered in the school curriculum. Hagan Scholars have attended 637 colleges and universities located in 49 states and the District of Columbia.
Hagan Scholars who graduate college while in the Hagan Scholarship Program can apply for a Hagan Graduate Scholarship good for up to four additional semesters in college receiving up to $7,500 each semester.

BBB Student of Integrity Scholarship (Added 9/24/24) DEADLINE: JANUARY 31, 2025
BBB Student of Integrity Scholarship: The Better Business Bureau Serving Western VA promotes integrity and ethics in the marketplace through voluntary business self-regulation. Each year we offer scholarships recognizing “Students of Integrity.” The BBB will award scholarships to graduating high school seniors who personify all of the best aspects of strong character in their personal choices and actions. From the seemingly infinite landscapes to the buzzing mobs at night, Minecraft is a game that has captured the hearts and imaginations of millions. The "Minecraft Forever Fan Scholarship" is a commemoration of this blocky universe, tailored for students who've unearthed creativity, innovation, and unending adventures in the vast Minecraft realms.
Do you recall the exhilaration of surviving your first night? The pride in constructing your very first redstone machine? Or maybe the thrill of exploring the End and battling the Ender Dragon? Minecraft is more than just a game; it's a sandbox of possibilities, a canvas for creativity, and a platform for unbounded exploration.
This scholarship ($500) celebrates Minecraft's unique ability to foster innovation, collaboration, and a profound connection with players across the globe. It stands as a testament to the stories created, the structures built, and the challenges overcome within its pixelated expanse.
Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship (Added on 9/16/24) DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 30, 2024
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to students in their final year of high school. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 36th class in 2024, the Foundation has provided over 6,900 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $84 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship. Must apply by September 30, 2024.
VA Sports Hall of Fame Student Achievement Awards (Added 8/29/24) DEADLINE: OCTOBER 18, 2024
The Hall of Fame aims to recognize student-athletes from Virginia’s high schools that excel academically and engage in their communities. Last year, the Hall of Fame awarded $14,000 in scholarships through this initiative:
Four (4) Student-Athletes of the Year each received $1,250 awards
Twelve (12) remaining finalists received $750 awards
Eligibility criteria is below:
Students must attend a Virginia high school (public/private)
Students must be a senior during the academic year of 2024 – 2025 to apply
Students who have a GPA of 3.0 of higher
Students must letter in at least 1 VHSL/VISAA sanctioned sport
One (1) letter of recommendation must be submitted along with the student’s academic/athletic/civic credentials
Student must submit a minimum 300-word personal essay on the following:
Please explain your involvement among your school and greater communities.
Please describe your reason for pursuing this scholarship and its importance to you.
Please describe the role athletics has played in your overall development.
