Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our Grade 8 Civics MCAS Testing will take place this Wednesday and Friday. We ask that you please make sure that your child charges their QPS chrome book on the evening before testing and brings their QPS chrome book and charger to school on testing days.

Point Webster's band and chorus' have been working hard to prepare for their upcoming concert this week. We invite the Point Webster Community as well as family and friends to attend our annual Spring Concert this Thursday, May 30th beginning at 6 pm at the QHS Lloyd Hill Auditorium.

In addition, please be sure to sign-up for our upcoming Point Webster/Clifford Marshall Family Fun Run which will be held this Saturday, June 1st at 9 am. More information can be found below!

Ms. Courtney and Ms. Hannah- We hope everyone had a nice long weekend! As the weather gets warmer, we will start working with our summer themes! Summer fun, ocean, and more! These themes will work their way into our Alphabet Countdown. Our students have been excited to work with a letter a day leading up to our last day of school (June 18th).

Integrated Pre-K

Ms. Aileen and Ms. Kerry- We hope you all had a wonderful long weekend with your families. We’ve been having fun watching the metamorphosis of our butterflies! We were able to set two free on Friday. The other two need a little more time to emerge from their chrysalises. The Point Webster/Clifford Marshall Fun Run is this Saturday! Please be sure to fill out and return the paperwork if you’re interested. It will be a fun event for all!

School begins promptly at 7:35 am and 11:10 am. It is very important to be on time in order to ease transition into the start of the day. Pre-K parents and guardians are reminded to use Edwards St. when dropping off your child. Pre-K students who are late to school are asked to report to the Front Office to enter.

Congratulations to our Grade 5 Robotics Team who took home the Champions Trophy at the annual QPS Robotics City Championship. Special thank you to Ms. Hendrickson for coaching our amazing team.

The Quincy Police Department will be offering a Tuition Free Youth Police Academy to

familiarize youth from the City of Quincy with the workings of the Quincy Police Department,

the criminal justice system and the demands of being a police officer. The Youth Academy will

run from July 22, 2024- July 26, 2024 from 8:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

This program is for rising 7th and 8th graders.
