As we head into the month of March, we have many exciting things happening at BES. Please take some time to mark your calendars.

The word of the month is COURAGE. Please see the newsletter attached below for some ways you can incorporate this word into your family routines.

We are continuing to collect non-perishable food items through March 7. Thank you for your generosity!

Please join us in celebrating books and reading! It will be a great week!

Don't forget to adjust your clocks on Sunday, March 9.

We are currently in the midst of conducting spring parent-teacher conferences. If you have not scheduled time with your child's teacher yet, please do so as soon as possible. We have lots of great things to share about your child!

We will observe "March Break" on Friday, March 14. There will be no school.

Our next Digital Learning Day is Monday, March 17. Teachers will be sending home their Digital Learning Day plans soon. Please note that in order for your child to be marked "present" and not "absent" on March 17, he/she will have to turn in or complete work assigned on Digital Learning Day no later than Friday, March 21. Thank you!

We will have our 2nd Hat Day on Friday, March 21. All funds raised will be used to purchase inflatables, etc. for Field Day, which is scheduled for Friday, April 18. Please bring $1 donation to participate.

April 2: Kindergarten to Atlanta Safari Park

April 15: 4th Grade to Innovation Ampitheatre for "The Magic Flute"

April 17: 5th Grade to Top Golf

April 21: 3rd Grade to Elachee Nature Center

April 25: 1st Grade to Ft. Yargo State Park

3rd-5th Grade will take the Measures of Academic Performance (MAP) assessments April 1-3.

K-2nd Grade will take the assessments April 15-16.

Field Day is scheduled for Friday, April 18. We are offering Field Day shirts for purchase. Shirts are color-specific for each grade level, and you can order yours HERE. Orders are due no later than April 1. Thank you!
