End of Semester - Start of Semester
Next week is our last full week of school before exams. Now is the last chance to review grades, communicate with teachers, turn in missing assignments, study and ask questions, and make a final best effort to earn credit or whatever grade is your goal for the first semester.
Then, our second semester begins on January 27. It is important that students get off to a good start, being on time and present every day, and giving their best effort. Seniors, finish strong!
Scheduling for 2025-2026
Now is the time to begin thinking about next year's schedule. In the preceding weeks students have been completing tasks in Xello, which helps them to learn about career possibilities and to connect those careers with course requirements. Ask your student to see their work in Xello.
In the weeks ahead, our counselors will be meeting with students during advisory time to continue this work, sharing information about careers, credit requirements, and elective options. Then, in February, parents will invited to attend Parent Meetings by grade level as follows:
- Monday, February 10 - Rising Freshmen - Class of '29
- Tuesday, February 11 - Rising Sophomores - Class of '28
- Wednesday, February 12 - Rising Juniors - Class of '27
In addition, please join us for Curriculum Fair 2025
- Wednesday, February 12, 6:30 - 8:00 PM in the main building cafeteria
- All grade levels are encouraged to attend.
What's Happening in January?
January 15 - No School - Teacher Professional Development
January 20 - No School - Martin Luther King Jr. Day
January 22, 23, 24 - Half Day - Exam Days
January 27 - Start of Semester 2
January 29 - Senior All Night Party Expo - Cafeteria - 6 PM
January 30 - Variety Show - Auditorium - 6 PM
January 31 - Relay for Life Festival of Pizza - Cafeteria - 5 PM
