Rocket Register
September 2015
Principal's Message (Updated September 18)
Thank you to all that took time to come out for Curriculum Night! If you were unable to attend, please contact your child's teacher for the information that was presented. Many teachers are also posting links to their presentations in their weekly emails.
As a reminder, the Rocket Register will come out MONTHLY this year; however, if there are updates (like this one), I will send an email to let you know.
Thank you to everyone that has already supported our fundraiser. The fundraiser officially ends on Monday, September 28, so there is still time to get orders.
We are having a Curriculum Cafe this Monday, September 21 for parents of K-2 students. To accommodate your schedules, there will be a morning (9 am) and evening (6 pm) presentation.
If you are new to Robison, please join the administrative team for a Welcome Breakfast on Friday, September 25 at 9 am in our library. We will introduce the administrative team, answer any questions you have, and give a school tour to anyone interested.
Please read below on how to stay connected with Robison (facebook, twitter, School Messenger, and Remind 101). We want to be sure to keep you informed.
I'd also like to share a friendly reminder to please send a note with your child if you are planning to check them out early. If something comes up unexpectedly, please call as early as possible. It is very difficult to have transportation changes late in the day (after 2:00 pm). We want to ensure that our students are safe, and giving the office staff time to notify the teacher of end-of-day changes in a timely manner will help us to do this.
Last, but not least, thank you for sharing your awesome children with us!

Ways to Stay Connected
This year our newsletter is going digital! This will save a great deal of time and money. The website that we are using allows for information to be input very quickly without worrying about formatting. We will eliminate paper costs, and the information will always be easily accessible. The information can also be updated with ease, and each time you access the digital newsletter, those updates will be included. If information is added or corrected in any of our MONTHLY newsletters, an email will be sent out through School Messenger. Please be sure that you have signed up and checked your contact information in School Messenger. If you use Facebook, that is another great way to stay in touch. Besides posting the monthly newsletter there, we post updates about events at Robison on this page. Below is information about how to receive texts through our Robison Families Remind 101 account. We might use this to send out quick reminders about events. We hope that you'll find the look of the newsletter much easier to read from a smart phone, as we know many of you access your email or use Facebook this way. Please be sure you have liked our facebook page. As always, our newsletter will also be available through the district website.

Shifts can be done in 2 hour blocks, 10:00-12:00 and 12:00-2:00. However, any amount of time you can help is greatly appreciated. Students will have the opportunity to purchase spirit items such as t-shirts, baseball caps, bubble pens, koozies, plush animals, and magnets.
