Donations needed for Hands Across De Pere and Hope Squad
Hands Across De Pere and Hope Squads from the district are desperately seeking candy donations for the De Pere Memorial Day Parade. This is an opportunity for our community to learn about the good work these groups do for the students and families across De Pere. To be good stewards of the donated funds we receive, we are asking for donations of bags of candy so the funds on hand can be used to support families directly. (Please no chocolate or anything that can melt easily)
If you are willing to donate, candy donations can be dropped off at your child’s school before school or during regular school hours. All candy is due to the school by May 16 so we can assess how much more is needed to fulfill the parade route. Thank you for your help!

Weekend Food Backpack Program
Children in our community are facing food insecurity, many of which eat their only meal of the day at school. To help alleviate these worries, our counselors and the Foxview PTO have partnered with DePere Christian Outreach Food Pantry to provide weekend food backpacks to those who have been identified as food insecure. DePere Christian Outreach provides enough food for 20 students per week. The food included is intentionally chosen as it could be prepared by students and doesn't require a stove. We would love to be able to supplement what the food pantry brings with additional healthy snack items that 5th and 6th graders would enjoy. Thank you so much for your support of this program!
