Message from the Co-Chairs of Governors
Dear Parents/Carers,
As another busy year comes to a close we would like to pause to thank the HPP team for the fantastic work they have done to achieve TWO outstanding Ofsted grades for HJS and HISN. While we recognise that the Ofsted outcomes are important and offer external validation of the 'outstanding' work going on at the schools, we know this is only part of the picture.
As governors we continually see evidence of the tireless work being done by teachers, LSAs and support staff to ensure that every child at HPP has the opportunity to thrive and feel recognised and valued. At the recent full governing body meeting the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) shared the development plans for next year and evidenced an ongoing and rigorous commitment to continuous improvement.
Once again we would like to take the opportunity to thank every parent and carer who chooses to send their children to HPP and for your generous support in helping to make the schools outstanding. As we look ahead to next year, we want to hear your views and understand more about your experience of being part of the HPP community. We were delighted to hear of all the wonderful comments you made to Ofsted inspectors about your children's experience at the schools.
Thank you too to all the parents and carers who took the time to complete our survey (sent only to parents of HISN on account of it coming so soon after the HJS Ofsted Survey). We are currently digesting the feedback and it will help inform the ongoing work of the governing body and the senior leadership team.
As Governors we want to hear your views and understand more about your childrens' experience of the schools. We look forward to meeting and speaking with you at the parents' evenings in the Autumn term.
For now, we wish you a restful summer break and look forward to another exciting year ahead when we return in September.

As you know, we have created the Hampton Primary Partnership Association (HPPA) which will replace both HISNA and FOHJS from September. This new organisation will continue to provide much needed financial support for the schools whilst also providing fantastic experiences for the children and an opportunity for parents and carers to get involved and support the school. Thank you to all those who expressed an interest in supporting the new organisation. Meetings with those volunteers are still ongoing and once we have confirmed these roles we will of course let you know. We plan on launching with an event in the new academic year.
HPPA relies on volunteers and I was delighted that Louise Allen, current chair of HISNA, volunteered for this new role. I know she will bring her enthusiasm, dedication and experience to this new role which will benefit all of the pupils of HPP. Whilst many of you know Louise, I asked her to formally introduce herself here.
"I am delighted to be appointed as the first Chair of the new Hampton Primary Partnership Association (HPPA), our partnership wide PTA, which starts in September. HPPA will bring together our fantastic community of children, parents, carers and staff to fundraise for our 'Outstanding' partnership and provide enriching and educational experiences for all the children. We are excited to share our plans for next year with you as soon as possible."
If you are interested in joining to support us in any way you can, please do reach out via contacthppa@gmail.com
Finally, this is the end of an era for HISNA and FOHJS. I know many of you will have happy and fond memories of attending events, helping out and supporting the schools and to all those involved I must say a huge thank you and we still need you! The two committees of HISNA and FOHJS, who have all been vital in ensuring funds are raised and fun is had, will still be involved in HPPA and I look forward to continuing to work with them and you for the children of HPP.
Thank you
Big thank you to Seb's (Yr 6) nan for making this beautiful cake to celebrate our Ofsted grading. We were so grateful to receive this and of course all our staff enjoyed eating it.

Calendar of Events
Please see attached Calendar of Events for Autumn Term 2024. This has also been uploaded onto our website and will be updated.
Carrier Bags
Please bring in some carrier bags next week so that the children can take their books home.
Clubs
Have now finished for this academic year.
Year 6 Leavers' Assembly - Tuesday 23rd July
As per previous years, regretably we are only able to admit one parent per child to the assembly which will start at 1:30pm. This is due to the size of the Rose Hall and being unable to accomodate two parents per child.
Parents unable to watch the assembly are of course welcome to attend the tea party which will start at 2.30pm immediately after the assembly concludes on the Green Area. The tea party is of course weather dependent.
