The Weekly Update #4
June 20th, 2024
Low Ash weekly round up - 21st June 2024
It's been a busy week!
It's been another busy week at Low Ash with fire safety talks, road safety talks, online history lessons delivered by the National Archives and a number of school visits. Year 2 enjoyed their trip to Filey yesterday, some pupils took part in the Bradford Clean Air Day, some of the School Council attended the launch of Wrose quarry wetlands (see photo above) and some pupils had the opportunity to visit Ilkley tennis club for some coaching and to watch some tennis.

Attendance
This week's school attendance is 93.0%.
This year's school attendance is 95.0%
Well done to classes 1RW and 6LH who are this week's classes of the week with 97.3% and 96.8% attendance.
Remember we aim for at least 96% attendance. Children who attend school regularly are proven to do better at school. Thank you for your support in this.
Transition
We will be informing you next week which class your child will move into next year. Please look out for this information! A reminder that on 3rd July, pupils will spend some time in their new classroom with their new class teacher. At the end of the day, you will be invited to collect your child from their new classroom and have the chance to pop in to see it should you wish.
Yurt development!
You will probably have noticed the yurt development in the school playground over the past week. We are so excited that the children will be able to use it before the end of term.
