TMHS Choir Audition Form

If you are returning to choir next year, please complete the following google form. This google form is part one of auditions for next school year. Part two will be an in person interview and sightreading with Mr. Ragsdale and Ms. White. Auditions will begin on Monday, April 15th in class.

TMHS Choir 2024-2025 Audition Form

Belles UIL

Non-Varsity UIL for Belles will be on Wednesday, April 10th at Willis High School. All students are required to attend UIL and will ride the bus to and from Willis HS.

Warm Up: 1:40pm

Concert: 2:00pm

Sightreading: 2:20pm

Students will be on a field trip leaver and will be dismissed from class at 12:00pm. Students will need to bring their formal black dress and all black shoes to school and can leave them in the choir room in the morning. We should return to TMHS around 3:30pm.

Varsity UIL

Varsity UIL for all of our UIL groups will be on Friday, April 12th at Klein Cain HS. Schedules are below. Parents are welcome to attend any concerts throughout the day.

Varsity Tenor/Bass (Chorale Men and 3rd per. Dudes)- Students will need to come to school dressed in their tuxes and ready to go. They will report to the choir room at 7:20am to warm up and prepare to leave to Klein Cain. Students should return back to TMHS around 10:00am. All students will ride the bus to and from Klein Cain. Upon arrival back at TMHS, all TB students will change out of their tuxes and go to class.

Warm Up: 8:20am

Concert: 8:40am

Sightreading: 9:00am

Varsity Treble(Chorale Women and Bel Canto) - Students will need to bring their formal black dress and shoes to school and can leave their things in the choir room in the morning. Students will be dismissed from class at 12:30pm to come to the choir room and change. Students wishing to drive themselves to Klein Cain may do so, with a parent email, following the bus from the fine arts lot. We will have two buses to take us to Klein Cain, but only one bus to return back to TMHS at the conclusion of Varsity Mixed. Any student needing to ride the bus back to TMHS will have to wait at Klein Cain until the conclusion of Varsity Mixed. The bus will return to TMHS around 5:15pm.

Coffeehouse Auditions

Coffeehouse is coming soon, on April 19th! Auditions will be virtual for this event, and submissions must be made to the google drive folder below by Sunday, April 7th at 11:59pm.

Submissions must be a video with all members of your performance present and visible in the video. Please state your name, the song title, and artist of whatever song you will be auditioning.

There will be no song changes after audition videos are submitted.

Congratulations to Catie Seal for singing The National Anthem at the State of the District Address last Thursday, the Astros game on Tuesday, March 26th, and for representing the TMHS production of The Music Man at the Tommy Tune awards!

Thank you to the Southwestern University Chorale for stopping by yesterday to sing for Dudes and Chorale! We had a wonderful time listening, and singing for you!

Dudes choir member Isaiah Nelson, along with other members of our TMHS football team, spent time with a 2nd grader at Wildwood Elementary that has been battling leukemia this week to welcome him back to school, and good luck on his 1st flag football game! What amazing representation for our school and organizations!
