SPRING DANCE SHOW
At the beginning of the month, our talented dancers under the direction of Mrs. Andrea Greene, performed their Spring Dance Show. Dancers from our dance classes, including the Jr. Company and The Company, entertained the audience for almost two hours. They performed the show over three nights. A lot of work went into preparing for this show and these dancers should be proud of their performance. Below are a few pictures from the show.
MENTAL HEALTH WEEK
The week of May 13th thru the 17th was National Mental Health Week. Our Canyon Counselors put together a lot of great activities to promote good mental health. Students were asked to design t-shirts for the week. The CHS staff voted and the top two designs were then printed onto t-shirts and given away to students. Congratulations to Sara Kong and Sophia Shin whose designs were selected to be printed on the t-shirts. Students also participated in lunch time activities during the week that were set up and organized by our amazing counselors. Each day included games and music. On Friday, some of our own students performed during lunch.
