U.S. Finalist in National Art Competition - Madelyn Bellamy
The Toyota Dream Car USA Art Contest is designed to inspire creativity in youth and imagine the future of mobility.
Each year, nine winners are selected with judging based on artistry, uniqueness, and execution of concept. A multi-round competitive selection process allows for careful review of the 3,403 eligible entries.
This year, 102 youth from 16 states won awards: 9 U.S. winners; 15 Honorable Mention recipients; and 78 U.S. finalists.
Congratulations, Madelyn!

Small Businesses Coming Next Week!
Your students are about to be asking for cash to spend after school. Why?
Seniors in Economics classes are very excited to maintain a FWAFA custom bringing small businesses to life April 17-21. It is an annual event for students involving fun commercials during assembly, playing games or achieving prizes, and getting snacks after school from their favorite store. Seniors are proud to continue the tradition!
Donations for snacks are $5 or less per item. Items will be offered at “stores” outside after school every day, April 17-21, at all student exits (south for elementary, east for middle school, and west for high school).
Students should listen to announcements, watch for posters and social media posts, and bring cash for the donations to get snacks from the stores. (Cash only please—no cash apps available!)
Three Economics classes are competing against each other for the privilege of selecting a legacy gift for FWAFA with their donations. Check out their social media!
Thanks for supporting these stores:
