NHHS Weekly Update

Weekly Schedule

Students, we will operate on a Regular Schedule on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week. No school on Monday for Veteran’s Day Holiday. On Wednesday, Nov. 13, we will follow the Flex schedule with all students reporting to 3rd block.

Attendance Policy

Per the NHCS & NHHS Attendance Policy, students who receive more than 10 unexcused absences in any course may receive an FF for the course until they have successfully made up their time. Saturday make-up time will be offered on the following dates from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm in the Media Center: 11/16, 12/07, 12/14, 01/11.

AdvoCats Signup for Thanksgiving Pies

So bye, bye, Miss American Pie. Drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry. And them good ole boys were drinking Pepsi 'n rye. Singin' this'll be the day that I sign up to give a pie for Thanksgiving! The AdvoCats would like to send NHHS staff home with a pie for Thanksgiving on November 26. Student Council Canned Food Drive

Student council is having a canned food drive. They are accepting non-perishable donations (canned fruits and vegetables, packaged items: mashed potatoes, rice, etc). Items can be dropped off in the main office and library.

Rotary Youth Leadership Academy Deadline 11/15

Juniors: the Rotary Youth Leadership Academy deadline has been extended until Friday 11/15. Please contact Ms. Mauk or your counselor if you are interested.

Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser to Benefit Veterans 12/7

NHHS will be hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, December 7th from 8:00-10:30 in the cafeteria. Tickets are available for presale using the link below or by scanning the QR code on the flyer. You can also pay cash at the door that morning. For $5, you get 3 regular or blueberry pancakes, sausage and orange juice or bottled water. Please bring your own coffee if desired. Funds raised will be used to purchase Christmas care packages for Veterans at the VA hospital in Fayetteville. If you have any questions, please contact Carla Padgett.
