Choir News
In March, Titan Men, Titan Women, Varsity Men, Varsity Women, and the Varsity Mixed Choirs performed at the UIL Concert/Sightreading Evaluation and were all awarded Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes are earned by receiving Division One ratings (the highest) from every judge in both concert and sightreading.
Our 6th grade Tenor and Treble Choirs competed at the Katy Choral Festival and received Division One ratings from each of their judges.
Orchestra News
In March, the Philharmonic, Lyrica, Cambiata, Sinfonia and Chamber orchestras performed at the UIL Concert/Sightreading Evaluation. Every orchestra earned first division ratings from the judges in our concert portion. The Philharmonic, Cambiata, Sinfonia and Chamber orchestras also secured the Sweepstakes by earning first division ratings from the Sight-Reading judges.
This is a huge accomplishment, and we could not be prouder of our Titan Orchestras! Thanks for representing Tays with such excellence!
Band News
Congratulations to the members of Lyric Winds, Concert Winds, and Symphonic Winds. They recently performed at the UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation and gave outstanding performances.
All three bands were awarded the Sweepstakes Trophy, earning Division One ratings from each of their judges in both the concert and sightreading events.

We have unfortunately run low on kleenex boxes on campus. If you could possibly send a box or 2 with your students to class, it would be very much appreciated! Especially during this cold and flu season! We thank you ahead of time for your generousity!

- Touch your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
- Prepare or eat food and drinks with unwashed hands
- Touch surfaces or objects that have germs on them
- Blow your nose, cough, or sneeze into hands and then touch other people’s hands or common objects
